The Klezmer Band

The Klezmer Band was founded in 2005 at University College School. Based in North London, our repertoire spans traditional Chassidic nigun to modern Israeli dance music. We are passionate and enthusiastic about klezmer and we hope that, after hearing us perform, you will be too.

The Klezmer Band has played at numerous events, parties, bar/bat mitzvot and weddings, at venues ranging from The Royal Exchange and The Gherkin to back-garden marquees and small restaruants. We are happy to provide both background music and Israeli dancing, which we call ourselves. We are always delighted to accomodate requests, so that we can tailor our programme to cater to the specific needs of each indivdual event. See what past cleints say here.
